Get inspired to embark on an adventure: Troll hunting
Sometimes even an avid hiker gets either overwhelmed with the vast possible hiking trips. Or in a slump. Not excited to get out on the trail. Maybe you’re new looking for something to do.
I want people to live. Truly enjoy their lives. Sometimes that means creating a story. A purpose. An adventure!
A while back my wife got into collecting cancellation stamps from National parks. What is cancellation stamps? National parks sell you a book. At each park visitor center they have stamps & stickers. So when you visit the park you can get the stamp. It gave us a goal to find the parks and go.
Along our journey we came across these trolls created by Thomas Dambo. An artist from Denmark. We learned he has made over 100 trolls. And they are scattered all around the world.
It dawned on me that troll hunting could inspire people to get out and explore. Get excited about the next hike. Direct their wondering mind to specific locations. Hone in on a goal.
I’m sure there is other trolls to be found. You just have to look. For those ready to get out there. Good luck. I hope you have an adventure of a lifetime. Troll hunting.
These little troll hunting adventures can be fun if you have young kids. There’s a b rated move called troll hunter. It’s Norwegian from 2010. It’s cheesy but just good enough cgi graphics that you can convince your kids that you actually believe it’s a real documentary about real trolls. Show them the movie, act excited & then go find these wooden trolls with them. They’ll think you are crazy but it’ll be fun. A few weeks later you’ll see them showing their friends that movie and pretending they really believe it. That’s when you’ll get a good laugh.
So make memories. You crazy troll hunters!
