No seriously, You will if you make them. The days. Your future days are made by you. Here’s the recipe.
First you have to think about what kind of day do you want to make. Let’s start off with a few simple days to get started. These are days anyone can make. All you need is to survive. That’s one day. Now let’s add some better ingredients. Let’s add a favorite television show and a chair. Maybe some snacks. Cool! You just made a simple day.
Ok, but anyone can make those. How do you make really good days? All you need is a little planning & discipline to follow thru.
Let’s say you want a day that you look great in the mirror. You feel great. You are doing something fun. And you are not worried about yesterday or tomorrow. Now that’s a good day. So let’s build one together.
First let’s give ourselves some time to accomplish this build. It’s going to take several ingredients and several days. What are some of the things we will need? Exercise? Oh not that! OK well let’s add a very little bit. Since we need it but don’t like it much. We will simply set an alarm on our phone. And we can adjust what time it goes off until we hone it into a time that works for us. We just can’t forget to keep it set everyday. Even if we just simply check it. Let’s plan this exercise to be a simple task. Five minute walk, a bike ride around the block, standing up with a stretch. What ever. The goal is just to imprint a motivational action into the days ahead so we can get to our happy day.
OK let’s set a food alarm. Maybe it’s a healthy food we eat or a time we don’t have that snack we crave. Just a simple reminder.
This plan is stupid. A joke for lazy people. Maybe. Maybe it’s a plan for busy people. I wanted to do this but forgot. I don’t know how people find time for fill in the blank. It’s because priority. They most likely enjoy what they prioritize. It doesn’t just happen tho. They probably didn’t even realize they set off on this exact same path. All they could think was that goal. And they formed the plan to make it happen. You want better days? Start thinking about what that day looks like and build it.
